As Nigerians welcome 2026, the Governor of Osun State has felicitated with the people of the state, describing the new year as a season of victory and prosperity.
In a statement, the Governor expressed gratitude to Almighty God for seeing the state through the challenges of 2025 and expressed confidence that 2026 would bring liberation from obstacles hindering good governance and democratic dividends.
The Governor emphasized that 2026 is a defining election year for Osun and urged residents to remain prayerful, vigilant, and active in defending democracy.
“Election is not war; it is the peaceful exercise of the people’s sovereignty. We must ensure our votes count and resist any attempt to undermine our constitutional rights,” he stated.
He further affirmed that, with the support of the people, the administration aims to record another resounding victory in the August 2026 elections and continue delivering purposeful leadership and good governance across Osun State.
