Upon assuming office, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has initiated the construction of Technical and Vocational Skills Acquisition Cities in Rigachikun, Soba, and Samaru Kataf, strategically located across the state’s three senatorial districts. This ambitious project is part of the administration's vision to transform Kaduna into a leading Information Technology (IT) hub.
The Technical and Vocational Skills Acquisition Cities aim to provide essential training and resources, equipping residents with the skills needed for the modern job market. By focusing on technical education, the projects are expected to create numerous business opportunities and enhance employment prospects for the youth in the region.
Governor Sani emphasized that these initiatives will position Kaduna State as a key player in Nigeria’s knowledge economy, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. “Our goal is to empower our people with the skills they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape,” he stated.
